LOW TWELVE Sign With ROTTING CORPSE RECORDS
December 25, 2005Bloomington, Illinois-based thrashers LOW TWELVE are close to signing a deal with the Chicago-based label Rotting Corpse Records. The band's new album, "This Side Toward Enemy", will feature 13 tracks, telling the story of a horrific serial killer on death row. Bassist/vocalist Pete Altieri has also written a graphic novel of the same title to accompany the release, detailing the serial killer's cross-country spree of death. The album was recorded, produced, and mastered by the band themselves in 2005. The artwork was composed by Jeff Gaither. The enhanced album will also include a video for the single "Kill Everything", directed by Jeff Feasley of Brutal World Pictures. Gary Meskil of PRO-PAIN provided additional vocals on the CD. A February 2006 release is expected.
"We are very excited about teaming up with Rotting Corpse Records," said Altieri in a press release. "This CD has got a lot of our blood, sweat, and tears on it — so we're ready to see it released. This CD is like nothing else out there, with a very creative story line, coupled with some of the most brutal music you've ever heard."
LOW TWELVE's current lineup is completed by guitarist Les Aldridge and drummer Wes Pollock. This three-piece band has done over 200 live shows, and has supported PRO-PAIN on their Round Six tour in 2000.
